Tour Itinerary: * Vlora Our adventure begins early in the morning as we pick you up directly from your hotel. We head towards Vlora, the city where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. Along the way, you’ll learn fascinating facts about Albania. Upon arrival, we’ll drive along the beautiful Lungomare waterfront and through the historic center, giving you a glimpse of the city where Albania declared its independence. From there, we continue along the spectacular coastal road toward Llogara Pass. * Llogara National Park The road then climbs high into the mountains along one of the most scenic mountain passes in the Balkans. At Llogara Pass, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, breathe the fresh mountain air, and have the chance to see the wild deer that have become one of the park’s most beloved symbols. * The Albanian Riviera Our journey continues along one of Europe’s most spectacular coastal roads. We’ll stop at some of the most impressive viewpoints overlooking Dhërmi, Palasë, Borsh, Himarë, and the hidden bays of the Albanian Riviera. Depending on traffic and timing, the exact stops may vary, but we’ll always make sure to visit the most beautiful panoramic locations along the route. * Porto Palermo. This journey takes you to one of the most beautiful and ancient lakes in the world, where nature, history, and a unique atmosphere come together to create an experience that stays with you long after the day ends. Lake Ohrid is considered to be one of the oldest lakes on the planet, with an estimated age of around 2–5 million years. Our route takes us through central Albania. Along the way, we stop in Elbasan to see the Ottoman-era fortress and enjoy a coffee in the cozy atmosphere of the old town. We then continue to the village of Lin - a quiet and incredibly picturesque place on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Here, you will find peace, fresh air, mountain views, and that rare sense of calm that makes you want to slow down. This place is surrounded by legends: according to one, Emperor Justinian loved spending time here, and according to another, Roman soldiers, impressed by the beauty of the lake, called it Lychnidas - the Lake of Light. In Lin, you will see the mosaic of a 6th-century Byzantine basilica and admire the lake that has witnessed millions of years of history. It is no coincidence that the Ohrid region is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Next is Pogradec, a charming lakeside town where it is a pleasure to stroll along the promenade, enjoy the shimmering water, and feel the relaxed rhythm of the place. The journey continues to Drilon National Park - one of the most romantic corners of Albania. A boat ride through its calm waters, surrounded by swans, ducks, shaded trees, and mirror-like reflections, turns this part of the tour into a true moment of relaxation. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to taste the famous koran fish - a local delicacy found only in Lake Ohrid and considered one of the region’s culinary symbols.
