Albanian Fjords

Do you want to experience breathtaking mountain and river landscapes without long and exhausting hikes? This tour is the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We travel deep into the country — where Albania remains truly wild and untouched. Along the way, you will discover two scenic lakes and one of the most beautiful gorges in the region. We will stop at suspension bridges, where you can cross the river and add a touch of adrenaline to your journey. For photography lovers, we’ll make several stops at the most stunning viewpoints. This destination is still off the main tourist route, giving you a rare chance to see the “real” Albania: sheep crossing the road, mountain goats on steep cliffs, olive and mandarin groves, cultivated fields, and old village churches. We will also walk along a hidden flower-lined path leading to a small waterfall, and in warm seasons, you can swim in a mountain river with crystal-clear turquoise water. Besides, you will enjoy a motorboat ride on the lake. And at the end of the tour we have lunch at a cozy spot by the lake: local dishes, fresh ingredients, and views you won’t want to leave. (Or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate) This is a journey for those who want to experience Albania as it truly is — wild, authentic, and unforgettable.
