This tour is a journey through time — from a great ancient city to one of the most important places in modern Albania. We begin with Apollonia — one of the most significant archaeological sites in the country. Founded by settlers from Corinth in 588 BC, it was once one of the largest and most important centers on the Adriatic coast. Here, history comes alive among ancient stones and picturesque ruins. During the walk, you will see the ruins of temples and sanctuaries, a library, galleries, the Odeon, the Bouleuterion, fragments of the city walls, as well as the Monastery of St. Mary with its archaeological museum and Byzantine church. Apollonia impresses not only with its history but also with its unique atmosphere — a place where you naturally slow down and imagine life as it was centuries ago. We then continue to Vlora — a city of great historical importance. It was here, on November 28, 1912, that Albania declared its independence and raised its national flag for the first time. During the city tour, you will see the historic center, the Muradie Mosque, Flag Square - one of the most symbolic places in Albania - and drive along the modern Lungomare promenade, a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. At the end of the tour we have lunch on the Vlora promenade — at one of the best restaurants with sea views and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. This tour is perfect for those who want to discover Albania on a deeper level — through its ancient heritage, key historical moments, and the vibrant atmosphere of the southern coast
